I just found out that there were a few lines left out on her remake of the song.

Lines that I feel are so important.

Why do we not stand up for injustice in this world? What will our children look back on and say "Mom, why did you just sit by while that was happening? When you had money? And time?"

Get out of the wilderness.  I am sure we each have our own wilderness. But I am sure they all come back to selfish reasons. I know mine does. It is a lot easier to focus on myself then this broken world around me. Loving the poor, living on the rundown side of town, serving the people of our church-these are not top priority when I am living for myself. But when I focus on what I believe to be truth, everything is turned around.

Please know I am writing this to myself. I am quick to speak up for the hurting and broken but I wonder deep in my heart if my actions match my words.
