Hard to believe that tomorrow, K and I will have been married TEN YEARS.

I remember people who were married that long. They had their  lives together and always seemed so much older and more mature.

And here we are. We started out, fresh from of college, a social worker and a marketing director at P&G. We have been through a honeymoon pregnancy that resulted in preemie twin boys. Buying our first house. Becoming foster parents. Moving to a new city-new job. Buying our second house. Getting pregnant. Moving to a new state for not only a new job but a career changed. Buying our third house Birthing a daughter. Adopting two more children. Job change. Planting a church. Buying our fourth house. Becoming foster parents again.

And here we are. Older. Wiser. We definitely have learned how to buy and sell a house. Have had a crash course in parenting. We still laugh. A lot. Usually at my expense. We are still best friends. We love being together. We still annoy the crap out of each other.

Oh but we are so much better together then we are apart. We spur one another on in our walks with Christ. We hold each other accountable. We balance one another in an amazing way.

I love you SO much babe. And cannot wait to spend the next 50 years with you. Though right now, I am just as excited to spend the next 6 days KID FREE!

(I could not find any recent pictures of us. HA!)
